Dwayne “stitched it all together for us”

Dwayne King recently did an excellent job of help us with a 10 day itinerary trip to Italy. We had already booked portions of our trip using award miles for air, and booked Air B&B for a house with other couples outside of Florence, and 4 days at a cooking school outside Arezzo. My challenge was in the last part of the trip to the Amalfi Coast. Dwayne stepped in, found an excellent hotel in Sorrento (Ambascatori) with a rooftop terrace and breathtaking views of the Bay of Capri and the sunset each night. He also found an excellent small boat tour from Sorrento to Capri for us. But perhaps the most amazing part was the hotel he found – in the face of many hotels being booked – the Covo de Saraceni in Positano. Perfect location (right on the beach) with a small terrace overlooking the beach/ocean and the entire town of Positano. Truly a magical place. Then Dwayne “stitched it all together for us” with car services and train tickets to get us where we needed to be. He is a truly accomplished professional and someone we will absolutely look to in the future, and, even more importantly, refer anyone we know with plans to travel to Italy. Thank you for introducing us and for building such a great team at ARTA.

Concerned that the details of our trip could be a daunting

We needed assistance with the mechanics of converting our AmEx points; flights to and from Spain; flights between several cities within Spain and even into and out of Portugal; not to mention acquiring hotels in several of those cities. We were concerned that this could be a daunting list for anyone to precisely complete. From the moment we were connected with Susan Pinabel, we knew we were in competent hands. First, her professionalism was immediately evident. She was very pleasant and very knowledgeable on all the different facets of our needs. Secondly, she was very precise and provided exceptional guidance during our planning process. When we realized that we needed changes to our itinerary, there was no hesitation, Susan quickly corrected our schedule. Please don’t ever lose your excellence –

Steve, I just want to take a moment to recognize Brandon. This is LONG overdue for all of the many ways he consistently goes above and beyond for myself and our organization. I cannot count the times or even begin to list all the examples where Brandon has gone above the call of duty and I want to personally thank him for his work yesterday in diving in and helping with a reoccurring issue we’ve been having with our Hertz account. For what seems like months now, doctor after doctor have arrived to get their Hertz rental cars some having no issues and others being told “no corporate account found we need your credit card” this is a huge red flag and not the standard of service we want our traveling staff to encounter. Each time Brandon has immediately stepped up reached out the following morning and got this corrected, recently when booking Hertz Brandon has begun to check upfront prior to pick up to verify that everything is okay with the reservations and even after being told yes we still ran into this issue again. Brandon in true fashion jumped in determined to find a solution and spent a good part of his day yesterday working on our account with Hertz customer service and it was finally determined that on their side somehow a digit had been removed causing our direct bill information to not link properly on all of these reservations in turn causing these billing issues.

Customer service above and beyond–

My group got stuck in Austin after flights home were cancelled on Tuesday night. Unfortunately for Ann, I caught her by phone as she was walking out of the office Tuesday night. That didn’t stop her. Ann was simply AMAZING!!! She was able to work with Southwest to get most of us (who hadn’t checked luggage) onto another flight as well as get a local hotel for all of us, including super shuttle instructions. She worked for about 2 hours getting us all situated and still gave me her cell phone number when she went home around 7. I appreciate the amazing work that ARTA Travel has provided for us and want to say thank you to all of you, but ANN really did an amazing job Tuesday night. Her customer service was way above and beyond her duties.

A lifetime of memories –

It was the trip of a lifetime. From every tour, tour guide, every transfer, every hotel, airplane seats, and everything in between, it was the perfect family vacation in every way! We give YOU total credit for making a lifetime of memories! Seeing our name on a sign in peoples’ hands every time it was time to transfer, it’s such a wonderful sight! Another wonderful sight is the good ole USA. We love our time away but always love coming home! THANK YOU for Everything, and I can’t wait to plan the next one!

This was my dream vacation…

First of all let me say our trip to Italy was absolutely wonderful! You did an outstanding job with all the planning and preparation. The hotel choices were perfect. They were all very nice, the breakfasts were delicious and the extra touch with the fruit baskets, appetizers and Spumante made it extra special.

All of our tours were just outstanding. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and covered all the highlights.

All of the transportation by car, boat and sea ran just like clockwork and it was reassuring to know we didn’t have to stress over how to get from one city to another. There were a few glitches with 3 of our flights but that couldn’t be helped and that’s just part of flying. Our flight to Philadelphia was delayed about an hour, there was a medical emergency on the flight to Venice and we were diverted to Ireland for an extra 3 hours and then our flight home was canceled due to flooding in Houston and we had to stay another night in Rome. But if you have to be stuck somewhere Rome is not a bad place to be. Ha!

This was truly my dream vacation as I have wanted to go to Italy for years. Thank you for putting together an amazing trip for us! It certainly was the trip of a lifetime.

As awesome as it was it wasn’t a relaxing trip. We walked 16,000-18,000 steps a day and we are ready for some R and R.

The hotel you suggested was perfect…

Just wanted to let you know we all made it back from Rome and it was a great trip. The hotel you suggested was perfect – great location and the staff was incredibly nice. Room was lovely – quite large given what I am use to seeing in Europe. Our favorite tour guide was Francisco who did the Vatican day. He was so knowledgeable, made everything so interesting. I highly recommend the Scavi tour – blew our minds! Thanks for all of your help. I can’t imagine what you could have done if we gave you more time!

My 11 other friends and I had the most amazing time!

I just returned home from my vacation in Mexico where I used ARTA Travel.

My 11 other friends and I had the most amazing time! The resort was perfect: the food and drinks were great; the service was fast; the staff was helpful and friendly, and so much more.

JoAnn could not have been a better travel agent for us! Dealing with 12 college seniors is not easy, and we could not have had the vacation we did without her. From flights to communication to checking in on us, she truly made the vacation stress free and so enjoyable. She was always taking care of us from the time we booked last Fall, to making sure we were safe when we landed.

If we decide to book another vacation, we will definitely use ARTA Travel as well as recommend JoAnn and you all to friends and family.

The trip was absolutely perfect…
